From teacher to counselor to corporate trainer and executive coach, one thing that unites Sharon DuMont Gilley’s professional path has been the love of tea. During college, friends from England and India introduced her to a proper cup of tea. From there, she celebrated tea in all it’s forms with her family and friends, some in delightful ways. One was a pajama tea party where they all came to tea in their pajamas with fancy accessories. After her corporate years, Sharon bought The English Rose, a British tea room in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that captured the spirit of a vintage tea shop in England. Her love of tea expanded into a business that brought together tea drinkers locally and all over the world. Her recent book captures the spirit of a little girl who loves tea and has an adventurous spirit for living, much like her own.
